The RCA 6l6gc is better,but it's expensive.In most time 5881 is better than 6l6gc,kt66 is better than 5881,ou,perhaps you can choose 350b,If you prefer the warm and lush,kt66 is best.some brand tubes are good,for instance:GEC KT66 Genalex KT66.If you only want get cheap and good tubes,some brand kt66 ARE better,like Sovtek KT66 or ShuGuang KT66.The ShuGuang kt66 is a cheap choose,It isn't like other chinese tubes,you will like it.we find it in www.thetubestore.com or www supertnt.com(they didn't list kt66,but they have it).
Now I have a questin,in a general way,we replace four or eighy output tubes,Why did you replace six output tubes?
you can try a unwonted 6l6--like ShuGuang blue 6L6WGB,But i don't know That how about it.:)
