Pull on PS

As far as pulling on the PS there are a few things to look at. For a se design, there wil be draw as the waveform goes positive, then it will approach zero as the current requirement drops below idle level( at high volume). A pp operating in class A will have a continious draw on the ps, ideally all the way to full volume. As one tube draws more the other will draw just an equal amount less. A pp AB amp will have a very varied draw on the PS. each peak will cause a large draw form the PS. even worse than a SE, so I'd rank them as easiest to hardest as pp class A, SE, then pp AB. to make a long story short....

Douglas
