I discovered that replacing the stock 6922 with the NOS 6H23 from Upscale was a significant upgrade. In fact, I decided not to "upgrade" to the LS25 MKII because of these tubes. I found that the LS25 MKI/6H23 equalled the MKII in terms of dynamics, bass/treble extension, miband richness, soundstaging, etc, while at the same time retaining the liquidity and musicality which was lost in the MKII (it was just too "dry" sounding in my system)
