I purchased one of Sheldon's PS cap boards from Uncle Ned, soldered it up and popped the hood on my Dyna with the intention of looking things over before I attempted the install, and noticed that the original kit builder of my amp apparently took Dynaco up on their option of trimming the right transformer leads to "proper length" for the stock build (as mentioned in the manual), which appears to leave me appreciably short of the required transformer wire to stretch all the way over to Sheldon's board.Would I be correct in assuming that there is no way to lengthen these wires, and I should start shopping for a new transformer to install on that side?
(I also noticed that the choke had evidently gotten 'way too hot at some point in the amp's history, 'cause it left a mess in the bottom of the amp... looks like I'll be replacing **that**, too...)
Thanks for any answers!!
