I went home and rotated the 12au7 tubes. No more whistle. I've ordered a complete set of tubes for the whole amp. I figured at 6 years old, it could use them. This amp sounds great, a true bargin at the price they go for used. [I paid $550 for mine, and except for the tubes, it's mint]
