A few percent drift on the bias over several weeks is no big deal. Just rebias it now and every few months afterwards. Changes in temperature as well as line voltage can easy change it that much.Use of a much lower bias current (like 20% less) may extend tube life but will compromise sound quality. Go ahead and use the standard bias. Your tubes should still last for years, and you don't have to use NOS to replace them. There are more excellent choices among new production EL34/6CA7 (Svetlana, JJ, EH etc) than almost any other tube type, and they are rugged and inexpensive.
