I fried a KR300BXLS...should I replace with VAIC?

I just cooked a power tube......a KR300bxls. Boy, lit up like gangbusters!
I believe VAIC and KR are the only people that make these? Should I just replace with another KR, or is the VAIC any different/better?
Amplifier is a Jota, so I can't use std 300b's.
Thankfully, I have backup VV32's so I'm not stranded without music.
