Hi, I tried a pair, shortly after they became available, yet hard to find. I got mine from Portugal, the price made the risk worthwhile. I used them in a phono stage. They were better than the generic chinese that were included with the preamp, but I prefered a pair of Amperex Orange labels from Holland, to the Svetlanas. I think for the price, they are worth trying and having around as backups. Just my opinion, of course.
