You'll see plate voltages of 400-450 volts applied to the 6V6GT in the older Deluxe and Princeton amps.At these voltages, bias the tube around 18-22mA (18mA for the 6V6GT & 20-22 mA for the 6V6GTA or GTY tubes).
Tell me how the EH stand up to this voltage and constant playing at "8" and higher. I've yet to see a new tube take this abuse for very long. I haven't used the new EH tubes.
BTW---Be sure your amp is running a 470 ohm, 1 watt resistor in series with the screen grid of each 6V6GT. This resistor will help prevent thermal runaway.
