Matching a 6 ohm speaker to an Audiomat Arpege with 4/8 ohm taps

I finally own my two all-time favorite pieces of audio gear and have a question about impedence matching between my 6 ohm Platinum Solos and the Arpege with 4 and 8 ohm binding posts for speaker connections. According to measurements in the Soundstage review of the Solos: "The Platinum's plot of impedence magnitude and phase reveals it to be basically an 8 ohm load, with drops to 5 ohms or just below in the lower midrange and midtreble". Should I be attaching the speakers to the 4 ohm or 8 ohm taps on the Arpege? Sonically they sound a little better on the 8 ohm posts, but I don't want to burn up my amp if this is a problem-thanks for any info in advance
