Thank you for your feedback. I have send a email to QS by your suggestion. But I got a reply from Mike Sanders who said that the QS Philip 8417 amp can only use Philip or RCA tubes only. I will clearify with him on some gray area again and I will let you know.
Which QS 8417 do you have? Philip or GE? Which brand tube do you have on your amp now? I know you sand that the Philip is the better one, but have you try them both? What is the difference sonically? Can you tell me where you buying the Philip 8417 tube from? What is the price?
