I'm with you on the Shania Twain/Trish Yearwood thing. I mean how many NEW(?) crossover sounds can Nashville produce? Country music seems to have an identity crisis happening. Give me Patsy Cline instead. At least SHE had a voice. Sorry to hear about the Kinks albums. I would be devastated. I'll check with some of my friends and see if they have any extra copies lying around. I can't help as I don't even own one vinyl copy of it. By the way, "Powerage" is a great album (and a very poor CD). Talk about great tunes with some of the best recorded raw guitar sounds. "I got myself a Cadillac, but I can't afford the gasoline!" I also like "Dirty Deeds Done dirt Cheap". Not the best recording but some great tunes again. Anyway, sorry for booning in on this thread and getting it off track. I don't have any gear that uses 6DJ8's (thank god) so I can't share any opinions or insight just ignorance. Take care.
