AES AE-3 and AE-25 questions ??

Hello ... I bouhgt AE-3 and AE-25 as a kit .... I have some questions ?
1. AE-3, can I disconnect the Zener diodes (IN5379) in power supply path ? ( I believe they're producing a noise)
2. AE-25, can I disconnect the Zener diodes (IN5363) in bias network (they are between pin 1 & 8 of output tubes and ground)
P.S let me know if you have a better idea about tweaking .... I'm thinking about replacing RF tube (6CA4) in power supply path, Has anyone done that before ?
