.......it's gona take out more than a 90 cent resistor. Sand amps are as suttle as an arc welder. When they go they will take every transistor in the amp with it and your $2000 speaker voice coils welding them shut. Thermionics require you become fluent with a soldering iron or fess up to shipping that amp to CJ. You're gona have to go with a Jeff Rowland or a FM acoustics SS amp to even come close to thermionic sound. Cordially, James
