He had a source of Chinese KT88's with a very high level of quality control ( I beleive the source was essentialy the old Golden Dragon tube selection ompany under new management), but this went south. The quality control went away and he recieved some pretty sorry tubes. He no longer uses these in his and sticks with 6550's.Rob
