I decided that Audio Research is doing a good enough job on their own to shut the doors without my assistance. The term fetaudiorevenge refers to my experience with the LS25mk2 (Fet gain 6H30 follower). By far the WORST purchase I have ever made bar none. In short, it was virtually unlistenable. It is gone now, as are my cables. I've raised a nice sum of cash and am willing to give this hobby another go. This time I'm leaning towards purchasing a tube pre from a smaller manufacturer, possibly the new Aesthtics line stage- 12AX7 gain/6922 follower. Any ideas?
