yeah, that sounds about right. Tubes would probably tend to fill in some of the lower bass (to a point) and sound better doing it.It also depends on how low you need to go. For a lot of music 60Hz cutoff is okay because there isn't much down there. But I'm used to monitors that go down to 40Hz and below and that makes a difference in some music.
