Chris, the ECC32 is a G-shaped tube, also known as CV181, which is substantially different from the 6SN7, as is the GT bottle ECC33 - both draw substantially more current and have much higher gain, among other differences. Neither is a direct sub for the 6SN7. I'm not aware of a European designation for the 6SN7, other than the British CV1988. Fivre, Philips, and other produced 6SN7's and marked them as 6SN7's.
