I believe the cpacitance of the sections as recommended are the following: 50-160-50-50mf. If you are using a tube rectifier exceeding 50mf on the first section may cause damage to the tube. The 160 in the second section provides a large resevoir for b+, and will not damage rectifier as it is separated by the filter choke.
