These are from a manufacturer named Ei and they are from Yugoslavia. These are a current production clone of the highly-regarded Telefunken smooth plates. As a matter of fact, they are made with much of the original Telefunken machinery.Most believe this to be the best 12AX7 in current production and it is very, very close (sonically) to the old Telefunkens. I believe Chris said they are "95% Telefunken quality, 1/10th the price".
I run these myself in my JoLida 502A and they sound absolutely fantastic!
