Hi,I'm not sure my remarks are going to help you, but since I have been playing around with different amps the sound remains very much the same in my system. The problem therefore is obviously the source! (In my case) With homebrew amps I would say go ahead..and tweak. But with an expensive piece of equipment like the BAT. I would rather not. But as far as I know Victor Khomenko is the designer (please anyone correct me if I'm wrong). He is often posts on this forum and I suspect he will post an answer to your question. If not... why not send him a mail.
