Hello: I am new to the tube gear, and can really use some help. I have tried to find out why some tubes, seem to flash or at the very least glow very bright near the bottom of the tube (under the bottom of the plate,when fist powered up. Then they seem to have a glow blow the bottom of the plate that remains. I have some tubes ECC88, JDJ8, and ecc82 that do this and other of the same series (differant brand) that do not. Is this a good thing, standard for some, or bad. Thanks Bob
