EL34 for 7159

Hope anyone can help me on this. Would it be possible to replace the 7159 with an EL34? I have a Scott stereomaster which I would like to tinker on. Although I'll have to rewire the cathode and G1, I'd like to know if this would be possible w/out adding other components.
