I bought these long plates used from eBay a while ago for my vintage tube pre. The tubes still sound great but for some reason I noticed that I need to turn up the volume to get to the same normal playback level. I usually listen at 12 o'clock position. Now I need to turn it up to 1-2 o'clock position. Are the tubes aging over time or something is wrong with my pre?
