If you have to have a CF in a circuit, is there a particular tube and setup that sounds best?I would prefer a 9-pin, but an octal is okay too, as long as it is not some super hard to find 6Sx7 type.
As for setup, I was planning on using a C4S load, but I'd love to hear about other's experiences.
