I need some help in identifying old amps or receivers that might have good output transformers to use in a 2A3 PP project. I'm looking for 3.5K to 5K primary, 8 ohm secondary (16 and 4 would be nice but not required.) There are amps and receivers put on Ebay for parts almost every week, but most folks (like me) don't know what the ratings on the transformers are. I've had recommendations in the past for Dynaco ST70 and Mk III iron, but those seem to be fairly well sought after. Another recommendation was for the outputs from a Sansui 1000A. Can anyone give me any further recommendations? Any Stromberg-Carlson, Eico, Harmon Kardon, Fisher, or other models I should be looking at? Is there a better place to look for vintage parts than Ebay? (I'm in the Atlanta area.) Thanks!Paul
