I'm kind of surprised at the bashing of SOVTEK 6922s. My BAT VK-D5 CDP and VK-30 pre come with Sovtek 6922s. It just seems to me that if there was a better sounding current production 6922, then BAT would have used it. Is it possible that an Ei 6922 (for example) may sound better in some gear and Sovteks sound better in others?I'm awaiting the arrival of my NOS Amperex 6922s and 7308s. I'll provide my evaluation thoughts after I roll 'em.
