Steve -Thanks so much for the reply. If a tube shorts out and fails, does it more often then not, cause one of these parts to burn out?
I now have to fix BOTH amps and I guess it is probably the same malady in both, but perhaps different a diff. rectifier or resistor.
The first amp was an ASUSA A-4 and the second the Jolida 302. Both need their own biasing. Both would benefit from HEXFREDS in the supply as well. The Jolida has a circuit board while the A-4 is point to point.
Sure wish there was some way I could do it but know now is not the time to start!
