Hi: This is a description of the 2 NEW NOS tubes I have been saving for a while, yet I do not know their origin of mfg'er. I was originally keeping them for a CJ CAV-50 I was looking at, but then went with a Bel Canto SETi40, which I believe was a nicer amp, albeit twice the quid.....
Black plates, 3 micas, ( 1st 2 are about 3/4" apart, 3rd one is only about 1/8" above that at top, and appears to be a little "thinner' than the others.), 2 rigid rods between bottom and middle mica, then a "tab" attached. i cannot see the getter, it is obscured by chrome top of tube glass. The only inscription is 5751.
my dealer thinks these are "low-gain" GE blackplates.....Any tube Guru's like to take a stab?, I'd like to find out so I can match 'em up so I'll only have to buy 2 more
At any rate, i wish to replace all four driver tubes in my Bel Canto SETi40 integrated, please tell me fella's, what would be a nice choice, and what do you think i have here already??????
