The Defy7 as biased for Class AB operation will run the standard 6550A and C versions,these are made in St.Petersburg especially for Jadis,or the Svetlana 6CA7's--the latter being the sweeter sounding tube.The amp is self biasing. You can see where I'm heading tho, in my opinion stick with the factory matched tubes for such a refined beast as a Jadis.I can supply a source for these if you require.
