Wrong sort of tube glow :-)
Has that tube always been like that?
Never the less: Check if there is some sort of low value cathode resistors: if then remove the tube and check its value. Check all the connections at the tube socket: The G1 grid is next to the G2 grid, and if there is any contact you will have +400V on the grid :-). Do also check the decoupling cap for the G1 for that tube (that isolates it from the splitter/drivers b+) as this will also give some +100V of bias ;-).
Shit: where may one find a scheeme???
