I enjoy mine. I've owned it for 1 1/2 months now and purchased a built one for returnability. It is a match made in heaven with my AE-1 Preamp. Worth $1200 is a funny question but I sold my Pass Aleph 5 for it which was $3800 and am not feeling the least bit of regret. It has better midrange that the Pass and more power subjectively. I use it in Ultralinear mode as it seems a better match for my speakers. I can't wait some day to try better tubes, but even stock it sounds great. Here is my system:
