Hi David!

Yes, indeed! This is great! Looks like 'we' are everywhere...:-). I did think about an off-topic post to RennList (for the non-P-car folks: the Porsche mailing list David refers to), thinking that maybe some Porsche enthusiasts might also be audiophiles, but wanted to try here first.

It's great to see that the people here are just as helpful as those on RennList!

Forumite Thom has supplied some valuable information and may be able to help further with some NYAL literature he has.

Harvey Rosenberg answered an email of mine by stating that "all tubes are 6DJ8 except output which is 6FQ7".

Since mine aren't all marked (there *are* three 6DJ8's), it is difficult for me to tell whether or not the others are, and I don't know how to visually distinguish between a 6DJ8 and a 6FQ7.

It certainly does look like the PO messed around a bit with the tubes. Does this sound familiar to the Porsche 928 owner?.....
