I did the triode mod and disabled the negative feedback last night. Now I have a hum when the amp is idle. I can't quite tell if the hum is present when music is being played, but if I disconnect the interconnects, the hum goes away. I have tried several pairs of interconnects with the same result.
I love the new sound.
It seems that before the mods, when I would turn the amplifier on I would hear the hum momentarily, but then it would be muted, possibly by the NFB circuits?
Any help (please be detailed if possible) is greatly appreciated!
