I have an Ah!Tjoeb CDP....I traded out the stock tubes (after listening to them for awhile) for some nos valvo e188cc a friend had. HUGE improvement...HUGE.
Now, my friend checked the Ah!Tjoeb out and said the set-up is "very very tube friendly" the tubes don't need to be "matched"... he said i should try "mixing and matching tubes."
MY QUESTION..to any Ah!Tjoeb owner...or anyone with some knowledge
of tubes and this CDP....can different tubes from the same family
(say...e88cc) be used...ie 1 aperexe and 1 siemens? He can provide
with "lots of single tubes" and I can mix and match them. Will this cause any damage to the CDP? I put this question in both the TUBE
and the DIGITAL sections. Thanks.
