When it comes to circuit board vs. point to point wiring, this subject has been argued long and hard before. Since items such as caps, inductors, resistors etc can have such a significant impact on the sound of a peice of equipment, so can the wiring and circuit boards. In my experience, the best SET amps I have heard are point to point wired. It's not that a circuit board based design cannot sound excellent (many do), in a design as simple as the GTA SE300B point to point wiring can (IMHO) allow a designer to get the best out of a design. Point to pint wiring is often more expensive to do than circuit board designs, hence when GTA when to re-introduce the SE300B they went with a circuit board based layout. Either way, I'm sure you have a very nice sounding set of amps.Sorry I missed the last post in the other thread... things can move along so quickly here that if I don't get back soon enough soem threads go right by me. I almost missed the GTA thread below!
