Some years ago I made the mistake of selling my Marantz 7c and
Model 9s. Now I'm thinking about what sort of tube gear (about
$1,500 total) to power original Quad speakers. I'm attracted to
vintage McIntosh preamp and 240 power amp, but is there anything
else or more modern that would sound better? All advice greatly
appreciated.
