RE: tube no longer works after cleaning pins???

boodles, have you put a meter (set to resistance) across the heater pins on the tube? If you get an open connection try a soldering iron on them as suggested by andy evans.

Also check the heater connections on the socket itself with the unit on and verify you have 5V on them.
