This makes sense......
The stuff I was used to would deteriorate under the MUCH higher than vacuum tube temps when any kind of contamination was present.......Prints would ETCH themselves into the quartz and be UnRemoveable. And eventually fail.
Doesn't sound like even the most ambitious power tube gets THAT hot.
