Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
I recently purchased 6 6n23p valves on ebay. When I checked them on a TV-7DU everything checks out good except they all show to be gassy.
I tested a 12at7 and a type 76 tube after the test of the 6n23p's and they have no gas.
I was planning on having the amp built before they arrived but that's not going to happen.
I don't want to open up a return case if I am not sure they are gassy.
Any feedback with this opportunity would be greatly appreciated.
Doug
