OGDW is right about the Atmaspheres. I heard both the M-60s MKII and the S30 stereo at HiFi 99 in Chicago and was floored by the clarity of the sound.Mushy bass with tubes? My Cary's got good bass using 6550, very though it's still in pentode mode and I was going to switch to triode but I'm replacing the Cary because I now hear the call of SE/OTL.
