I was checking what fellow AA'ers would choose for a 6EJ7 / EF184 driver tube...... I'm using it in a Abraxas Audio (Jeff Larson) 6384 (triode mode) single-ended amplifier..... I've tried Amperex and International, just wondering if there is a preferred version of this tube.
I also wonder if there is also a general "sonic signature" for mesh plate vs. solid plate versions of this tube.
