RE: Connecting a subwoofer to a tube amp

I don't see why there would be any danger to the tube amp.

The inputs to the active subwoofer are probably 10k ohms so the tube amp shouldn't care or even be affected in any way.

but why would you want to do that?

Why not just feed the subwoofer amps from the preamp?
