Go with four quiet SR Schottky SS diodes in a full wave bridge in each amp and forget having to replace anything. They will outlive you.You can then go about increasing the storage of each amp's PSU with chokes and higher capacitance. The space where the GZ34 was can be used for a nice big fat capacitor ;-)!
[IF you do use electrolytics, bypass the last two with film caps!]
A significantly bigger PSU just will be audible, more RMS power and possibly more headroom above that.
Quieter? Possibly.
