RE: PSVANE KT120

35 mA always works and you do nothing wrong. but trying some mAs more can make sense and is audible instantly. so with my rogue i had best results in performance in all aspects with KT120 at around 38 mA. pitching the bias up to 40 mA is no problem at all for KT88/90/120 and your amp either. (the rogue┬┤s fuses would blow at 250 mA, right?). running under 35 mA makes no sense. you would notice your amp sounding cold, boring and dreary. over 40 mA the sound from my gear became narrow, harsh and stressed.
