How Sencore's test dual triodes

I think I have your answer. Some tubes (such as 6SN7's and 12AU7's) contain 2 triodes. Think of this as 2 individual tubes inside one glass envelope.

To test such tubes in your Sencore each triode is tested individually. Thus your tube data chart indicates 2 lines of set up information for your Sencore's A, B, C, and D set up switches with each line indicating how to adjust those switches to test one of the tube's triodes. I assume this is what you observe when you mention there are 2 sets of numbers in the tube chart for the tubes you asked about.

To test such a tube. Adjust the set up switches to the adjustments indicated in the chart's first line of adjustments, and then perform the tests you wish to run. To test the tube's other triode adjust the switches for the tube chart's second line of adjustments and then perform tests you wish to run.

To test most dual triode tubes with Sencores the settings for the A, B and C switches used to test a tube's 1st triode are the same as those used to test its 2nd triode. Whereas the adjustment on the D switch is different for each of the tube's triodes. Which sounds like the situation you indicated where the only difference in the 2 sets of adjustment numbers for a tube is the setting on the D switch (either the B or G).
