The "best" way to get Sylvania NOS at "reasonable" cost is using the Loctal 7N7. Regardless of branding, Loctal base tubes are the product of Sylvania's Emporium, PA, plant.

BTW, the Loctal equivalent of the 6SL7 is the 7F7. Loctal base tubes, which were intended for mobile service, are less vibration sensitive than the electrically equivalent Octal types.

In current production, New Sensor's "reissue" TungSol is a solid performing 6SN7 variant.
