Extremely happy with it's sound. And yes I could finish out my days with it just as it is today.
However one of the good things of having a tube stereo IS tube rolling. I want to take advantage of that and add a only a "touch" of warmth and still maintain the detail I have and enjoy.
Even though I know I can never find a better output tube than what I am currently using, the GL KT66, I still plan on trying a few other EL34s or the EH 6CA7. Doesn't mean I don't like the GLs but it does mean I want to try different "flavors" this amp can offer.
