Yes H-K does that on their A300 amplifier too, the A500's lesser sibling. It used 6V6GT/7408 tubes in push-pull arrangement for about 12-15 Watts per channel. The rest of the circuitry is pretty much identical except for the differences to implement the higher wattage output stages in the A500.

The strange thing is that EICO used a two-tap loudness connection on their volume controls and as a result the PEC for it has four leads instead of the typical three as in H-K.
