Good choice...

Of the EL34 I would recommend the Mullard EL34 New Production tubes, but
those Genelex KT77 are divine.

Also, save up and get a top quality 5AR4 / GZ34. Don't know of any current
production ones, but a vintage Mullard or metal based Phillips is worth the investment.
